this is the last status update. I’ll soon make another blog entry about the project.
These are the links for the commits:
- bug 564285 – debug-manager: Partial fix (1) for bgo #564285 – Inspect/Evaluate window is hard to use.
- gdb: Allow inspecting expressions containing spaces: with this patch, now the Anjuta debug manager can send to GDB expressions containing an actual space inside it. Formerly it would just break the watch.
- gdb-plugin: Fix a memory leak and take care of double quote when quote gdb expression:the memory leak fix was done by my mentor, Seb. The taking care of the double quote was done by me. Now Anjuta can inspect literal strings and functions or expressions with strings inside won’t break the debugging. That memory leak fixed by Seb was introduced on my other patch.
I’ve learn a lot about regular expressions, working with glade and a lot of the functioning of the debug-manager and GDB plugins inside Anjuta.
